Carolina Lira Cruz is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Masters Degree in Labor Law and Social Security from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2020). She has focused her practice on labor and social security matters.
She has focused her practice on labor litigation, intervening in cases involving anti-union practices, fundamental rights infringement, unjustified dismissals, workplace accidents and occupational illnesses, judicial appeal of administrative fines, null and void dismissals, collection of benefits, among others, representing companies in the different instances.
Likewise, she has experience in corporate advice to national and international clients regarding labor social security and migratory matters, having participated in hiring and dismissal processes; definition of benefits for employees; labor due diligence; internal investigations; obtaining visas and work permits for foreigners; challenging fines imposed by administrative agencies; among others.
She has also participated in an active role in collective bargaining procedures and a diverse array of union related matters.
Before joining Arab Abogados, she worked at the law firms Doña Riveaux Abogados (2019-2022) and Fontaine y Cía. (2016-2019).
